Just in Case — Privacy Policy

Just in Case (the "App"; Korean edition "만일의 노트") is an app for recording, on your own device, the information your family would need in an emergency. The developer values your privacy and handles information as described below.

1. We do not collect personal information

The developer operates no servers and does not collect, store, or transmit your personal information.
The App has no sign-up, no login, no advertising, and no analytics.

2. Everything you enter stays on your device

Everything you write is stored only in the App's local storage on your device.
Backup and export files are created by you, and you alone decide whether and with whom to share them.
Deleting the App deletes all records stored on the device (except backup files you exported yourself).

3. Optional feature: AI assistance

These features work only if you register your own API key.

The photos or text you choose to send are transmitted directly from your device to the Google Gemini API or the Anthropic Claude API using your key. Nothing passes through any developer server.
The provider's privacy policy applies to data you send: Google · Anthropic
Your API key is stored only on your device and is never sent anywhere except to authenticate those API calls.
If you do not use these features, no data ever leaves your device.

4. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not collect personal information from children.
