Sudoku Privacy Policy

"Sudoku" (the "App") is a single-player sudoku puzzle game made by Solamemento (the "Developer"). This policy explains how information is handled.

1. The basics — your data stays on your device

The App has no accounts or sign-in, and the Developer does not collect your personal information.
Your game in progress, statistics (games solved, best times) and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent anywhere. They are removed when you uninstall the App.
The App contains no analytics tools and no push notifications.
A banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen (Section 2). It disappears if you purchase Remove Ads (Section 3).

2. Advertising

The App shows a banner ad through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google collects and processes the information below. The Developer does not receive or store this information.

Your game records and settings are never shared with advertisers.
To opt out of personalized ads, go to Settings → Google → Ads on your device and delete or reset your advertising ID. You will then see non-personalized ads.

3. Remove Ads purchase

Remove Ads (Settings → Remove Ads in the App) is processed by Google Play Billing.

Payment details such as card numbers are handled by Google and are never shared with the Developer.
To decide whether to hide ads, the App asks Google Play for the purchase history of the Google account on this device. The purchase status is stored only on the device.
Purchases are tied to your Google account, so they remain after reinstalling on a device using the same account (use "Restore purchase" in Settings if needed). Refunded purchases bring the ads back.

4. Sharing with third parties

The Developer does not sell or share your information with third parties.
Ads are provided by Google LLC (AdMob) and payments by Google LLC (Google Play) as described in Sections 2 and 3.

5. Data deletion

The Developer holds no user data. Game records stored on your device are deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data in your device settings. Advertising ID data can be managed as described in Section 2.

6. Children

The App is not primarily directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page.
